The National Hook-Up of Black Women, Inc. Joliet Chapter is a non-profit 501(c)3 charitable community service organization dedicated to improving the lives of families through support of the arts, culture, health, education, and human services programs.
The Joliet Chapter was established in October 1991. Our organization is supported through membership dues, donations and fundraisers. All programs and services are presented to the community at no cost.

We provide FREE health and wellness screenings and seminars for the community with the collaboration of local hospitals and physicians
We provide FREE leadership and life skill programs for boys and girls, ages 8 - 18.
We provide FREE empowerment seminars for parents in the community.
We provide FREE books to the community through the Reading for Life program.
We provide FREE leadership training and opportunities for our membership.
We welcome partnerships that will benefit the community.
We champion initiatives improving the quality of life for the family.
