Yvonne Parson

Yvonne Parson is a charter member of Logos Baptist Assembly, where she directs the Hearing Imparied Ministry and teaches Sign Language classes.  She has completed all course work for her B.A. in American Sign Language to Eglish Interpretaton from Columbia College.  She holds a M.S. in Education for School Guidance and Counseling and a B.A. in Psychology from Chicago State University, graduating with honors.  She is listed in Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities.  Sister Parson has taught in private schols as a Therapeutic Educator for emotionally-disturbed children, she has taught in a private Christian School and was a Corporate Trainer/Course Developer for 10 years at AT&T.  She is the recipient of many awards and honors for outstanding customer service training.  She is also a ceritifed Sunday School teacher through E.T.T.A. and has taught classes at Logos Baptist Asembly on Stress Management, Women's Issues and Pre-Marital and Marriage Training.  Sister Parson currently serves as facilitator of Logos Baptist Assembly's WomanLife Ministry, a full-scale women's ministry designed to minister to women's needs and foster spiritual and social growth for women. She has been married to Rev. Donald Parson for twelve years and they reside in Lemont, IL with their two Siamese cats Kheylarayna and Jasmine.  Yvonne enjoys reading, walking, traveling, all music and studying the Word of God.  Sister Parson continues to devote her time and talent to the ministry of becoming a Woman of Excellence - being beautiful in God's Eyes!
